For many years, Skills for Kenya e.V. has been dedicated to creating real opportunities for young people through high-quality vocational training at the Severin Craftsman Training Center (SCTC) in Mombasa. Our goal has always been to empower individuals with practical skills, independence, and a pathway into sustainable employment.
Through a structured, hands-on training approach, more than 300 young men and women have completed their apprenticeships in skilled trades. These graduates now contribute to their communities and build their own futures with confidence and dignity.
As circumstances evolve, our work is changing as well. While large-scale training operations at SCTC are being concluded, vocational training remains an important part of our commitment. On a smaller scale, we will continue to support young people in gaining skills and opportunities for a better future.
What we have built together will endure — in the lives changed, the skills passed on, and the belief that education creates opportunity.
