We offer you a cashless service in our hotel. Please sign for all food and beverages at the restaurant, bar, and all outlets. Payment is accepted at the reception during checkout with the following credit cards: Visa or Mastercard, and M-Pesa.

Our hotel has a Doctor on call 24Hrs. Please contact the receptionist who will be able to contact the hotel doctor. Please note that any medical services have to be settled directly with the doctor. 

In order to care for the atmosphere in our restaurants and to respect the other guests, please follow our dress code. Please avoid swimsuits and wear shoes all the time. In the evening, gentlemen are reminded to wear long trousers and shirts.

The hotel only carries basic first aid equipment for small cuts and bruises. If you require first aid, please contact the reception. 

As our guest, you may sign up for additional hotel services. Your receipts for beverages, food, massages, laundry, or any other extras will appear on your “room extra account”. Please check what type of services your meal plan includes (bed & breakfast, half board). You are requested to settle this account prior to your departure at the reception (24-hour-service).

Children under 14 are not allowed to play unsupervised due to the heavy nature of the equipment, which may pose a safety risk if not handled properly.In case of damage, parents or guardians will be held responsible.

A small library is located near the reception, towards the Kisima Bar. Feel free to borrow and return any books. Board games are available at the reception. You’re also welcome to donate any books you no longer need.

The dart board is located at the Kisima Bar, together with the dart arrows. We encourage adult supervision for younger players under 14 years for safety.

Hotel guests are welcome to play golf at the nearby 18- hole Nyali golf course or the Vipingo Ridge 18-hole golf course. For further information and reservations please contact our reception or Guest Relation desk. 

This park stretches along the coral reef of the whole Bamburi Beach Coast. The Kenya Wildlife Service is in charge of the protection of the fragile marine environment and imposes an entrance fee for water sports activities such as snorkeling, diving, or glass bottom boat.

We have two outdoor pools open daily from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Swimming is at your own risk. Children must be supervised by parents at all times. Please shower before use. In case of emergency, contact Reception.

Our illuminated tennis court is located next to the hotel. Please make reservations through the reception. A tennis coach is available from Monday to Saturday.  

Table tennis bats and balls are available at our old telephone booth near the reception.

Author Nana Grosse-Woodley who is living in Kenya, has dedicated her book Tsavo Trilogy to the unique ecosystem of the Tsavo National Park. Within the three volumes » Stories Book«, »Nature & Landscape Book«, and »Travel Log Book«, the reader gets to know every important fact about this exceptional National Park and its history. The idea of writing a trilogy about the Park and its inhabitants came from Severin Schulte. The Tsavo Trilogy can be found at the hotel library near the reception.

Towels are available at the pool areas. We kindly ask you not to take them out of the property, including the beach area.

We have a history museum near the reception. The museum shows the development of Kenya, tourism in Kenya, and our Severin Sea Lodge. Please feel free and pass by!

Your security is our top priority. To help us keep you safe during your stay, we kindly ask you to follow these simple guidelines.

Our hotel-own security team is on duty 24 hours and always cares for your safety. In case of possible risky or dangerous situations, please immediately call the security service or reception. Additionally, the Hotel has a 24Hrs. CCTV Surveillance in place. If you leave the hotel area, we recommend being conscious towards strangers and leaving your valuables in the room safe.

Should you lose your room key, please notify our reception desk immediately! When leaving your room, please double-check to ensure that your entrance and balcony door are properly locked. Please do not reveal your room number nor give your room key to unauthorized persons. Always ascertain through the peephole who is outside. If you do not feel safe, please immediately inform reception. All hotel employees wear name tags whilst on duty. You are not allowed to have non-registered visitors in your room.

Please be reminded that the hotel is not responsible for any loss of money or valuables not properly secured in a closed room safe. Please make sure that valuables like jewelry, money, or personal documents are always safely locked in your room safe.

Familiarize yourself with the locations of the nearest fire exit and fire extinguisher – refer to the directions on the plan at your entrance door. Please do not light any naked flames and refrain from smoking in bed! If you detect a fire, immediately inform the reception and activate the nearest fire alarm. In case of a fire alarm, please strictly adhere to the instructions of our trained hotel staff. Upon evacuation close your room door, take your room key but no luggage with you, and calmly leave the hotel via the nearest fire exit. Our assembly point is next to the Swing Bar at the beach or outside the main gate. If the handle of your room door is already too hot, your room is the safest place to be. Close the window, switch off the air condition, seal the crack under your door with wet towels or sheets, fill the sink with water and advise the reception of your location.

Our spacious spa and fitness area is open daily. The fitness center (with Technogym equipment) is available from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and the spa offers relaxing treatments from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. For spa reservations, please contact Reception.
